How do you ensure your panel of solicitors are some of the best around?
CompareTheSolicitor.com selects only quality firms of solicitors that genuinely want to help our clients at reasonable costs. We constantly monitor our panel solicitors to ensure that they are keeping to the main principals that keep our clients happy. If any of our panel slip up or there are complaints from clients then the firms are contacted and told to improve. If the firms do not improve then ultimately they will be dismissed from our panel. Thankfully the firms we use have the highest of standards and therefore this is a rare occurence.
What does your service cost?
Our service is completely free of charge to our clients. We will not charge you anything. Our fees for marketing and the service are paid for by the quality firms of solicitors that benefit from us recommending them to clients. We act independently and will always pass you to the best panel solicitor for your case. Solicitors are barred from passing any fees on to you, so you are assured that you will never pay for our service.
How do you help through the case?
At CompareTheSolicitor.com we pride ourselves on the fact that we are not simply a referrer of clients. We help our clients throughout the case and provide assistance to ensure that the clients are always happy with the work that is being done on their behalf. We work to develop strong relationships with our clients so they will use us if they should require a solicitor in the future and also recommend us to friends and colleagues.
What do you do if I have a problem with my solicitor?
Generally you will not have problems with our recommended solicitors. We do realise that occasionally certain problems are unavoidable. If ever you have a problem with your solicitor then it is better to address this at the earliest stage. If you would prefer us to speak direct with your solicitor then you may contact us and we will advise on the best course of action and sort the issue for you. We do keep in contact with clients throughout the case, so you can address the issue with us at any time when we are in contact.
Can you find me a local solicitor?
We have a panel of solicitors all over the country. Whilst we do not promise to have a solicitor on your doorstep, we usually have a panel solicitor reasonably close to the vast majority of clients. This of course depends on the type of case that you require a solicitor for. As we only pick the best of solicitors it is usual that you not be recommended the closest to solicitor to you, but the closest that we can recommend in terms of quality, expertise and professionalism.
Do your solicitors specialise in all areas of law?
We do have solicitors for virtually every area of law that you can think of. However, our solicitors often specialise in different areas and therefore when we assess which solicitor is best for you, we look at a number of things including location and areas of expertise. If the case is complex, covering numerous areas of law then we have larger firms of solicitors with numerous in-house expertise.
I've employed my own solicitor but want to change. Can I do this through you?
In most circumstances yes you can. If you contact us and let us know all the details of your case then we can pass you on to a quality firm of solicitors whom will sort out the change of solicitor for you. You will simply have to advise your current firm of solicitors that you no longer wish for them to act on your behalf.
Do I have to instruct the solicitors that CompareTheSolicitor.com recommend?
No. You are entirely free to choose whichever solicitor that you want to. What we would advise is that if you do not choose a CompareTheSolicitor.com recommended solicitors then you should be careful that you can trust the solicitor you choose yourself and ensure that you keep a close eye on the costs that you are being charged.
How do I recommend you to a friend?
At CompareTheSolicitor.com we pride ourselves on the number of people who recommend us to their friends, family, neighbours and colleageus. It is our aim to ensure that the justice system work entirely reasonably and without the negative publicity that it has rightly received in the past. We want the profession to once again be respected within the community. To this end we are delighted when clients recommend our services. Either ask your friend to contact us direct or alternatively you can send us their details and ask that we give them a call.
What if I have another case, different from the one that I have told you about. Do I go back to your first recommended solicitors?
Generally we prefer you speak to us before doing this. Depending on the type of case, we may find that the initial recommended solicitors are not the best firm for you for that type of case. Also, we can only monitor and assist on cases where we have referred them on to solicitors directly, so it is in your benefit to let us know first.
